Ingredients ( 12 )

  • * 120ml fresh milk
  • * 50g eggs
  • * 300g bread flour
  • * 3 tablespoons sugar
  • * 1 teaspoon salt
  • * 60g butter
  • * 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • egg yolk for brushing

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients marked with * into bread machine, set to dough cycle, and start the bread machine.
  2. Butterroll1 Divide the dough into 12 portions. Bench time for 10 minutes
  3. Butterroll2 Shape each portion into a cone as in the picture
  4. Butterroll3 Roll each cone into 30-35cm length. Then roll it as in the picture
  5. Butterroll4 Let it rise double then brush top lightly with egg yolk
  6. Bake at 180 degree for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown

Do you have any suggestions on using raisins and caraway seeds in a bread machine. They get pulverized when I make raisin bread and rye bread!

@Kathy Maister, Usually, i`m just follow the instruction from bread machine to add somethings into it. When it is the time, my bread machine will ring and i will add raisins or other things into the machine. However, i think that to avoid the raisin from being pulverized, why don`t you just add it after the bread machine had finished dough cycle and the dough had been removed from the machine. I means before you punch down the air after removed it from bread machine you just add in the raisins or other things that you like it.
