My Recipe: Super fast and easy Key Lime Pie recipe

I got this recipe from a cooking class I took. I made this recipe for my family and my dad said he didn't like key lime pie but he would try it. He tried it and loves it! Now I make this recipe all the time! I usually just buy the pre made graham cracker crust but you can make your own!

Ingredients ( 6-8 depending on how big of slices you cut )

1 1/2 C Graham Crackers-crushed
3/4 C Butter Softened
3 Tablespoons sugar
4 C Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Lime
6-12 Drops of Green Food Coloring

Directions

Combine the graham crackers, sugar and butter to make a graham cracker crust. If using pre made crust skip this step!
Grate lime skin into a bowl and set it a side.
Cut lime in half and squeeze juice. You need 1/4 cup if you don't get enough out just add water or lime juice.
Put ice cream in microwave for 15-30 seconds. Combine ice cream, lime juice, and food coloring.
Pour mixture into crust and garnish with lime skin.

Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours
